Friedrichstraße Were the fuck is that exclusive and expensive shopping area that Friedrichstraße is famous for? If that's what you're thinking, you probably started your visit at the wrong end of Friedrichstr., which is located in the district of Kreuzberg and not much of a point of interest. The posh part is located in the district of Mitte between Französische Straße and river Spree. Here's the place to buy a Bugatti and it is here where you can spend tons of money in Gallery Lafayette or Quartier 206. North of river Spree the glamour is gone again, the street looking pretty much the same as years ago, when there still was the wall.
