No need to go there just for the lake. It's ok if your hotel is nearby, but its not a great tourist attraction. Swimming is prohibited, you can lie in the sun but the people there hardly don't do it. They are mostly elderly folks from the nearby flats and the atmosphere is very philistine. 

You can rent boats.
